Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Karen Wammes would love to help you with your personal or small business bookkeeping and taxes.

After attending the University of Lethbridge, Karen married and moved to Ontario where she and her husband farmed, ran a construction business, and, as a hobby, had a small catering business.

Karen took care of all the bookkeeping and taxes for their businesses while keeping her 3 kids active with hockey, football, ultimate frisbee, and dance. She also found time for her own passion of playing the organ and serving as a choir director for 15 years.

During those years, Karen worked as an administrator for an insurance brokerage where she obtained her brokerage license, obtained her certification and worked as a municipal clerk treasurer, and for her final 6 years in Ontario, worked for an Ontario Padgett Business Services office where she handled all types of accounting, tax preparation, and payroll.

In 2011, Karen and her family moved back home to Southern Alberta where she continued to work in accounting. In 2013, Karen purchased her own Padgett Business Services office and now serves clients in the southwestern corner of the province.
